This includes a security update.  If you are not up to date you should be.

WordPress Update: 3.5.2 This is a Security Release

WordPress Update

WordPress has a new update, 3.5.2.  They describe it as a maintenance and security release but it’s definitely focused on fixing some security items.  Here’s the details on the update: http://wordpress.org/news/2013/06/wordpress-3-5-2/.

Before updating your WordPress remember to backup both the database AND the website files.  These are separate things and are critical to restoring a site if something goes wrong.  You also want to check that any plugins you have installed are compatible with the new version.  This step helps prevent a compatibility issue that could break a feature or the entire site.
